LEARNING, COMMUNITY, RESPECT. These are the core values of Springfield Gardens Primary School and they are present in everything we do. Our staff, students and community value these words as the way in which we work, the reason we come to school and they embody what we believe makes a great school.
Welcome to Springfield Gardens. I trust you find our website engaging, informative and a reflection of our dynamic school community. We offer a range of programs, including bounce back, smiling mind, Move Well Eat Well, P.E. a fully functioning kitchen and a garden that you have to see to believe. At Springfield gardens, your child will be taught the Australian Curriculum, along with a focus on inclusion, social and emotional learning and real life skills though our “Fresh @ Springfield” café.
We focus on achieving your best, in whatever field that may be, and we celebrate success from kindergarten to grade 6, through our celebration assemblies, newsletter and Facebook. We believe that reading holds the key to education and as such, we have a focus on this through our resources and structures in the school to ensure that all children achieve a reading level commensurate with their age. Further, we hold that constructivism, the gradual release of responsibility, professional learning communities, inquiry teaching and collaboration are all key factors in quality education. These elements are clearly present across the school and the children, staff and wider community have a relentless focus on each child achieving their best. IN other words, as our department says, we focus on, “Every Learner, Every Day”
I encourage you to contact the school and organise a tour of our facilities and speak with the friendly, professional staff about what you can expect when you enrol your child at Springfield Gardens. You can also like us on Facebook and sign up for our newsletter. I look forward to meeting you to discuss your child’s needs!
